Due to the rather special shape of the original key guide, the effort is very high and expensive. This would drive up the final selling price dramatically and would simply not be profitable for us. Before installing the new display, three plastic lugs must be removed in the display frame. These can be broken off with pliers, or cut off with a knife. Please do not forget to clean the washer in the housing.No soldering required.All you need is a screwdriver, flat nose pliers and side cutters. Note on contrast adjustment:It may be necessary to replace 2 SMD capacitors on the main board. Due to the ageing of the capacitors, the setting range for the contrast has shifted.
