1 pcs. 6,5 inch low-midrange speaker as replacement for Technics EAS-16PL470A3 or EAS-16PL403Asuitable forTechnics E-PianosTechnics Keyboardstechnical description:The speaker built in originally from Technics has become porous and brittle with age. We have found in cooperation with the Visaton the best possible replacement speaker and we are proud to offer this one here. This speaker is a low-midrange driver with a strong bass. The installation dimensions of the speaker are 170 mm in diameter at an installation depth of 73 mm. For fastening the speaker has four bores in the housing which are mounted on a diameter of 159 mm. The original Technics speaker has a 3 mm smaller diameter for fastening. The installation of the new speaker can be a little bit difficult.Practical tip:The speaker is mechanically fixed wirh 4 nuts. The electrical connection is made with plug-in cable shoes. We deliver a cable shoe adapter. This is necessary because the new speaker to the positive terminal has a larger cable lug used as the original Technics speakers.Â
Hammer for a Technics E-Piano, 88 Key HammeractionThe hammers are used and in good condition. All keys supplied by us have been tested.2. different hammer versions:Please pay attention to the details. This Technics keyboard is also available with a pressure point simulation. The hammers in this keyboard version are constructed slightly differently in detail. Please take a close look.Technics has always used the same keyboard for many years. Today it has the advantage that the spare parts are easily interchangeable between the different instruments. We are of the opinion that Technics has used a very good and above all durable keyboard here. In addition to the good sound of the electric pianos, this is a definite plus point in favour of Technics electric pianosAssembly instructions:To be able to use a hammer, the keyboard must at least be unscrewed. This allows the keyboard as a whole to be pushed slightly away from the front edge. Now the key must be unscrewed. The hammer can then be removed from the top.Â
Replacement–set for broken key guides on Technics electric pianosWith Technics electric pianos, it can happen over time that the original key guides break because of aging. This leads to a hanging or grinding of the keys. Since there are no more original spare parts for Technics, we have been looking for an alternative. Through various application tests and material research, we have found a product that fulfills the characteristics of the original Technics key guides in an identical way. Therefore we offer you a matched spare part set for your Technics piano in our store. Why we don't have the parts rebuilt? For the reproduction of a plastic part, an individually made injection mold must be produced. Due to the rather special shape of the original key guide, the effort is very high and expensive. This would drive up the final selling price dramatically and would simply not be profitable for us. But since we have tested our product extensively, we can sell our alternative with a clear conscience. So that everyone can get an impression of our product and the handling or the exchange, we have prepared a suitable blog post and a PDF variant to print out. You will also receive a printed manual with the product when you order it. Included in the set:– Matched tube suitable for a keyboard with 88 keys.– Special keyboard grease– Instruction manualWhen replacing the key guides, it is necessary to grease the new parts. For this reason, a suitable grease especially for electric pianos is included in the set.Â
