Replacement Keys Yamaha GHD Keyboard
Key: Key A

Replacement Keys for Yamaha GHD KeyboardThese Keys fits for all Yamaha GHD keyboards.Note on the keys supplied - black rubber:The keys are normally supplied without the black rubber buffer that is attached to the lower end of the key. The black rubber must be taken from the old key.Yamaha GHD keyboard is used in:Yamaha Clavinova CLP-120Yamaha Clavinova CLP-150Yamaha Clavinova CLP-220Yamaha Clavinova CLP-320Yamaha Clavinova CLP-880Yamaha Clavinova CLP-910Yamaha Clavinova CLP-930Yamaha Clavinova CLP-950Yamaha CVP-107Yamaha CVP-109Yamaha Motif 8 und Yamaha Motif ES8Yamaha P-80Yamaha P-120Yamaha P-200This list of Yamaha Clavinova models is only a small selection. These keys were used in many models.Hanging Keys:In a series of these keyboards there was a problem with so-called hanging keys caused by the use of an unsuitable plastic grease. The key is clicked into the keyboard frame at the rear end. Yamaha originally used white grease here. This plastic grease has attacked the plastic of the key's. In the long run, this led to a material break at the back side of the key's (see photo 2).By this material break, the key is a bit wrong and thereby strikes the key next to it, dragging and is thus difficult (hangs). Instruments affected between May 2000 and January 2003 are affected.Today Yamaha uses a blue keyboard grease which is suitable for the plastic keys. If you still find this white grease in your keyboard, it is recommended to remove this grease and replace it with the blue one. For a keyboard should be 10 to 20 grams of grease. The Yamaha GHD keyboard is a velocity-sensitive keyboard, which comes in 2 versions. With a 4-zone hammer mechanism and a simple hammer mechanism in which all hammers are equally weighted.Mechanical construction:The base frame of the keyboard is made of plastic and is therefore very light. All other components are attached to this frame by screws or clamps. The white Keys have a size in cm of 2,2x21x4,2, the black Keys 2,2x19,2x5,9 cm.

Yamaha CP50 Spare Parts and Repair Solutions

The Yamaha CP50 is a versatile and reliable stage piano, renowned for its excellent sound quality and performance capabilities. However, like any electronic instrument, it may require maintenance or part replacements over time to ensure optimal functionality. This guide provides an overview of available stage piano spare parts and repair solutions for the Yamaha CP50.

Replacement Keys and Keybed Parts

For musicians encountering issues with the keyboard, such as unresponsive or damaged keys, a range of replacement keys and keybed parts are available. These components ensure the keyboard retains its authentic feel and responsiveness.

Sensor Board and Contact Rubber

The sensor board and contact rubber are critical for the accurate detection of key presses. If these parts wear out, they can be replaced to restore the instrument's sensitivity and precision.

Hammer Action Parts and Tactile Switches

The Yamaha CP50 features a hammer action mechanism to simulate the feel of an acoustic piano. Over time, hammer action parts may require replacement to maintain the instrument's playability. Additionally, tactile switches for buttons and controls can be replaced to ensure reliable operation.

Potentiometers, Encoders, and OLED Display Replacement

For controls such as volume and tone adjustment, potentiometers and encoders are essential. Replacing these components can resolve issues with inconsistent or non-functional controls. If the display becomes unreadable, an OLED display replacement is available to restore clear visibility.

Felt and PCB Repair

Replacing worn felt beneath the keys can improve the tactile response and reduce noise. Additionally, PCB repair services address electronic faults within the instrument, ensuring reliable performance.

OEM and EOL Spare Parts

Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM spare parts) and End-of-Life (EOL spare parts) components are available for the Yamaha CP50, ensuring compatibility and maintaining the instrument's original quality.

Professional Repair Services

For complex repairs or maintenance, professional repair services are recommended. These services ensure that the Yamaha CP50 is restored to its optimal condition by experienced technicians.

Maintaining the Yamaha CP50 with high-quality spare parts and professional repair solutions ensures its longevity and continued performance, making it a reliable choice for musicians worldwide.
