1 pcs. slide Potentiometer forCasio CZ-1 VolumeCasio CZ-1000 VolumeCasio CZ-3000 VolumeCasio CZ-5000 VolumeThe Lever on original Potentiometer is shorter. You can cut this Lever to the right length.Electrical properties:The stereo nominal resistance has 10 kOhm, the electric resistance gradient is linear. The potentiometer is construed for a power of 0,06 Watt.Appearance (technical characterisation):This slide potentiometer has been built in in the past in many instruments and audio equipements. The particular embodiment of this potentiometer is the arrangement of the solder contact pins, which today are no longer usual. In total eight solder contact pins are laterally ordered to a group of four pins at the top and the end of the slide potentiometer. On both sides the solder pins are staggered in reverse order. Because of this arrangement the volume control fits only in a specific mounting position. The slide potentiometer has a travel of 30 mm. Its metallic casing measures 45 x 8 mm, the height without lever is 7 mm. The lever is made of black plastic and ends in corner radius. Its height is 15 mm, the breadth is 5 mm and its depth is 2 mm. The eight solder contact pins are 0,8 mm wide (one of them) and they are arranged in a distance of 3 mm. The bented pins are necessary for the electrical function. In medium range of the casing the metallic edge-socket connector is mounted. By these connectors the slide potentiometer will be fixed mechanically.Useful hint:The volume control is soldered on the circuit board. You should have mechanical skills and experience in soldering to replace it.

Casio CZ-1 Synthesizer
The company Casio was in the 1980'er years in the market of digital synthesizers activ and brought different series and model series on the market. Essentially, here are in addition to the CZ series, the FZ series and the VZ series to call. Casio started with the CZ series which was sold very successfully. Later, the VZ series was presented as a further development of the CZ series.
Service, spare parts and repairs
No Casio service is available for the Casio CZ1 Synthesizer of the 1980's. It is correspondingly difficult to get spare parts. Therefore, we have included the Casio CZ1 synthesizer in our offer and as far as we can we offer suitable spare parts for the CZ-1. If possible, our spare parts are OEM spare parts. This means that we obtain the spare parts from the exact same supplier from which Casio was supplied. If these components are still produced today. If these replacement parts are no longer manufactured we can offer an equivalent or even better replacement.
However, there are also spare parts where it does not make sense to offer the components of that time. As in the field of LCD displays, it makes much more sense to use current technology. We look very carefully to see if these displays are really suitable as a replacement. This depends on many different factors to consider. In the most favorable case, and that happens very often with us, we have made a test installation on a suitable instrument.
The test installation is possible for us in many cases because we repair ourselves. The instruments end up as by themselves in our workshop and we can calmly look for which LCD or OLED displays fit well. We are happy to take over the installation of spare parts for you. Please ask.
