Everything is scraped and only a Phillips screwdriver, preferably PH2 is needed. Now the old display can be removed. Before installing the new display, three plastic lugs must be removed in the display frame. These can be broken off with pliers, or cut off with a knife. Please do not forget to clean the washer in the housing.No soldering required.All you need is a screwdriver, flat nose pliers and side cutters.  Â

In total eight solder contact pins are laterally ordered to a group of four pins at the top and the end of the slide potentiometer. On both sides the solder pins are staggered in reverse order. Because of this arrangement the volume control fits only in a specific mounting position. The slide potentiometer has a travel of 30 mm.In medium range of the casing the metallic edge-socket connector is mounted. By these connectors the slide potentiometer will be fixed mechanically.Useful hint:The volume control is soldered on the circuit board.
