unter dem Markennamen Technics kam Ende Der 1980'er Jahre die E-Piano Serie PX100 auf den Markt. Zu der Serie gehörten die Modelle PX101, PX103,PX107 und PX111. Die Modelle waren in Schwarz und in Nußbaum Furnier erhältlich. Diese elektronischen Tasteninstrumente von Technics wurden im gehobenen Preissegment angeboten und werden dem auch durch Klangqualität und Verarbeitung der Instrumente gerecht. Der Preis des Einsteigermodells lag bei 2.500,--DM. Das Spitzenmodell, PX107 wurde für 4.500,--DM angeboten.

Reparatur eines Technics E-Piano PX103

Diese E-Piano Serie von Technics zeichnet sich durch eine hervorragende Verarbeitungsqualität aus. Die Tastatur ist sehr langlebig konzipiert und der Verschleiß ist gering. Eine Schwachstelle hat sich nach vielen Betriebsjahren gezeigt. In der Elektronik kommt es durch die Alterung von Elektronik Bauteilen zu einem Defekt.
