This OS works only in Juno-2.

we offer here a Customized OS version for the Roland Juno2 . This OS version is required if a new OLED display is to be installed in the Juno2 .

There are two OS versions 2.5

Roland released version 2.5 as the last official OS version. This version was then changed again for OLED support. The version number was not incremented. The OS version with OLED support is not an official Roland version.

Mounting instructions for the EPROM in the Roland Juno2 :

Soldering may be required if the EPROM in the Roland Juno2 is not socketed.
In very many cases EPORMs are plugged in on a socket from the factory. But it can happen that the EPROM is soldered directly. In this case the EPROM would have to be desoldered. In this case it is advisable to retrofit the IC socket.

Practical notes:

IC's/Eproms are sensitive to static charge!

Recycling of E-Proms:

The best recycling is always the reuse in the original form. We will be happy if you send us back your old eprom. We will then reuse it with the updated OS version.
