Electronic assemblies
In addition to a range of OEM spare parts and those we have developed ourselves, we also offer used spare parts where available.
These subassemblies are without exception those that we have taken out of devices and thoroughly tested for their full functionality. Only when these tests have been successfully completed do the used assemblies from old devices find their way into our shop. Of course, their number is often limited to a few pieces. However, their complete, flawless function is guaranteed. We often achieve this by replacing the old capacitors, the components most susceptible to ageing, e.g. in Korg power supplies, or power supply components.
In-house developments
In our development department, we also work on the complete replacement of, for example, entire power supply units, because these often no longer meet today's standards, or sometimes also consume too much power.
For these and other reasons, we sometimes use modern standard power supplies and supplement them with the electrical or mechanical connections that are suitable for your device. In this way, you have a modern power supply in your synthesiser, which is about a few decades old, which does not produce any noise, does not hum, does not consume unnecessarily much power, generates too much heat, and impairs other components, or even the entire device.
Sustainability
In addition to the ever-increasing awareness of ecological and/or economic interrelationships, it is often a question of time and money that speak for the use of used components. A whole keyboard does not have to be sent for electronic scrap because its display is defective. Rather, it is often worthwhile to remove the mainboards of the formerly high-quality musical instruments, subject them to a long-term test, replace the capacitors if necessary, and recycle the entire assembly.
Of course, this is only possible with our full workshop guarantee.
Repair
Particularly with Technics electric pianos, repairing the components is an enormous advantage.
Instead of sending a rather heavy and bulky electric piano to our workshop, it is quite sufficient to send in the mainboard.
We have a high degree of experience in handling and repairing such assemblies, and offer you this uncomplicated method of getting your instrument back into working order.
In any case, however, you should contact us before sending in any unit.
