The rare MPC 3000 with improved memory expansion up to 32 MB was launched in 1994 with a much improved firmware. It also had a much improved display compared to the previous models. This display was characterised by improved readability. However, after more than 25 years, the brightness of these displays has also diminished, making them less legible.

Replacing the display

Replacing a defective display turns the AKAI MPC 3000 back into your favourite music production tool. Whether in the studio or live, the use of an electronic musical instrument stands and falls with the legibility and function of the operating elements.
We replace the defective display with a modern, state-of-the-art OLED or LED display.
We can also replace the buttons of your MPC 3000, or the rotary and slider controls, if their function is no longer guaranteed to be trouble-free.
The rotary encoder, which enables the input of data, should also be checked, because it is also subject to natural wear and tear and will break down at some point.
