In this total length the casing is 10 mm long. On this casing is the thread with 5 mm length connected and out of the thread the axis rises with 12,5 mm length. The axis has a diameter of 6 mm and is flattened on a length of 7 mm. It is made of Metall. Its head has ends in corner radius. The thread, which surrounds the axis, has the screw measure M9 x 0,75 mm.The three solder pins are 0,6 mm wide (one of them) and they are arranged in one row in a distance of 2,5 mm (pitch).At the end of the casing the metallic snap in connector is mounted. The original displays have a small fluorescent tube, a so-called CCFL backlight, as backlight. It is possible that only the backlight is defective or the whole display is defective. This can be that only single pixels in the display are missing or whole lines in the LCD no longer work. In extreme cases, entire areas of the screen can also fail. If only the CCFL backlight is defective you can use a new fluorescent tube. The whole thing requires very calm hands and patience because these backlight tubes have a diameter of only 2 mm. Therefore they are very sensitive and delicate. Here it is also necessary to solder. As an alternative we offer a replacement LCD equipped with modern LED backlight.
