Replacement keys for Fatar TP40 GH Keyboard (used) Fatar TP40 GH keyboard is a touch sensitive keyboard with 3 Zone Hammer Action.Keys are mounted on a support frame with core of steel sheet. At these core all attachments were made of plastic in an injected machine.contact detection is done via 12 pin contact rubber strip with two graphite points.The unweighted keys have a length of 21.5 cm and a width of 2.24 cm. The thickness of the keys is 1,5 cm.The contactor, which presses on the contact strip is 1.2 cm deep. The distance between the front contact and the front of the keyboard is 14 cm. A movable hook is hooked into this opening. 3-Zone Hammer Mechanics:A 3-zone hammer mechanism is a little bit unusal for high-quality e-piano keyboards. Normaly there will bee 4 zone hammer mechanism. By means of the three different zones the Manufacturer Fatar try to get closer to the feeling of a mechanical wing. The keystroke on a mechanical piano varies depending on the area, whether bass or high. This is simulated with this keyboard by the fact that there are three different hammers with different weight.The keys are in color white.The plastics used by Fatar tend to darken very strongly and the plastic becomes somewhat brittle. At the moment we have used keys in a very good condition.These keyboards are placed in the products of Doepfer (well known for their Master Keyboards and modular Synthesizer) and Waldorf.
