Yamaha SY series Synthesizer
Yamaha launched the SY series as the successor to the digital synthesizer Yamaha DX7. The Yamaha SY-99 is the big model of this series with a key range of 76 pressure and velocity sensitive keys. Also available in the series is the SY-77 with a key range of 61 keys and the TG-77 which functions as a rack synthesizer without keys and is controlled purely via MIDI.
Yamaha SY-series today
The Yamaha SY-series is a digital synthesizer with FM sound modulation. Furthermore, the synth also has Wave Rom extensions. The synthesizer was introduced to the market in 1991. The Yamaha SY series Synthesizers also has a broad market breadth today and there is a wide range of add-on modules and feature enhancements. There are various Usergroups in which a lively exchange takes place. The benefits for the SY series are often called the good keyboard and this synthesizer is a good to use as masterkeyboard. Furthermore, everything is housed in a very sturdy metal housing which brings high stability and long life.

As a special highlight we can offer brand new LCD displays with LED backlight. The original displays are today often difficult to read. Another advantage is the whistling that occurs with many synthesizers disappears.

Software update:
Various operating system versions have been created for the SY99. Especially the update to the OS version 1.57 requires extensive work which we also gladly offer and carry out.
