The key with rubber also has a small fat reservoir. The Yamaha GH3 keyboard is a velocity-sensitive keyboard, which comes in 2 versions.With a 4-zone hammer mechanism and a simple hammer mechanism in which all hammers are equally weighted.Mechanical construction:The base frame of the keyboard is made of plastic and is therefore very light. All other components are attached to this frame by screws or clamps.The white Keys have a size in cm of 2,2x21x4,2, the black Keys 2,2x19,2x5,9 cm.

Rotary Potentiometer suitable forYamaha N1 Electrical properties:The nominal resistance has 10 Kilo-Ohm, the electric resistance gradient runs linear.Appearance (technical characterisation):The casing measures 9.5 x 11 mm, the total length without pins is 29 mm. In this total length the casing is 16 mm long. On this casing is the thread with 5 mm length connected and out of the thread the axis rises with 10 mm length. The axis has a diameter of 6 mm and is flattened on a length of 7 mm. It is made of brass. Its head has ends in corner radius. The thread, which surrounds the axis, has the screw measure M7 x 0,75 mm.The nine solder contact pins are 0,8 mm wide (one of them) and they are arranged in a raster in a distance of 2,5 mm. The pins, which are sticking out  are necessary for the electrical function. Useful hint:The potentiometer is soldered on the circuit board. You should have mechanical skills and experience in soldering to replace it.

The pink contact rubber is missing 2 holes in the rubber which serve as a guide.The green version is no longer available.Note for the installation of the Yamaha contact rubber:Please pay attention to the installation position! The potentiometer is construed for a power of 0,05 Watt.Appearance (technical characterisation):The casing measures 14 mm widht, the total length without pins is 20 mm. In this total length the casing is 7,5 mm long. The axis rises with 13 mm length. The axis has a diameter of 6 mm and is flattened on a length of 7 mm. It is made of black plastic. Its head has a slot and ends in corner radius. The seven solder pins are 0,6 mm wide (one of them) and they are arranged in a distance of 2 mm (pitch). The curved pins, which are sticking out to the front, are necessary for the electrical function.In medium range of the casing the metallic snap in connector is mounted. These connector will fix the potentiometer at the printed circuit board by pressing in.Between the two snap in holdings the distance is 15,3 mm. The holders latch in the board and fix the potentiometer mechanically.Useful hint:The volume control is soldered on the circuit board. You should have mechanical skills and experience in soldering to replace it.
