This volume control is no longer available at the original equipment manufacturer Roland, because Panasonic, the producer of the pot, does not longer produce the production-model. The here shown replacement pot is identical in construction and 100% compatible with the original Roland part volume EVJY10FB6A24.

Electrical properties:

The stereo nominal resistance has 20 Kilo-Ohm, the electric resistance gradient is logarithmic. The potentiometer is construed for a power of 0,05 Watt.

Appearance (technical characterisation):

The casing measures 12 x 12 mm, the total length without pins is 22,5 mm. In this total length the casing is 7,5 mm long. On this casing is the thread with 5 mm length connected and out of the thread the axis rises with 10 mm length. The axis has a diameter of 6 mm and is flattened on a length of 7 mm. It is made of black plastic. Its head has a slot and ends in corner radius. The thread, which surrounds the axis, has the screw measure M9 x 0,75 mm.

The six solder pins are 0,6 mm wide (one of them) and they are arranged in a distance of 2 mm (pitch). The curved pins, which are sticking out to the front, are necessary for the electrical function.

In medium range of the casing the metallic snap in connector is mounted. These connector will fix the potentiometer at the printed circuit board by pressing in.Between the two snap in holdings the distance is 13,8 mm. The holders latch in the board and fix the potentiometer mechanically.

Useful hint:

The volume control is soldered on the circuit board. You should have mechanical skills and experience in soldering to replace it.
