The keys are manufactured in two different production facilities at Yamaha. Depending on the production of the keys, they have different features. One variant is supplied with black rubber, the other variant without black rubber. In the second case the black rubber has to be taken over from the old key. The key with rubber also has a small fat reservoir.

The Yamaha GH3 keyboard is a velocity-sensitive keyboard, which comes in 2 versions.
With a 4-zone hammer mechanism and a simple hammer mechanism in which all hammers are equally weighted.
Mechanical construction:
The base frame of the keyboard is made of plastic and is therefore very light. All other components are attached to this frame by screws or clamps.The white Keys have a size in cm of 2,2x21x4,2, the black Keys 2,2x19,2x5,9 cm.
