Please always replace all contact rubbers in the keyboard.
A new contact rubber has better playing dynamics than a contact rubber that is 8 or 10 years old. If you replace only one contact rubber, you will notice differences in the playing dynamics.

A contact rubber consists of 12 contacts and covers an octave. A rubber contact strip consists of 12 contacts and covers an octave. For complete replacement of the rubber contact strips in a 88 Key keyboard you will need 8 strips with 12 contacts. One strip can be cut after 4 contacts.
