Mechanical Description:

The digital to analog converter is housed in a DIP 16 package and is designed for classic through hole mounting on a circuit board. Use of a socket is possible. The DA converter has 2 x 8 connecting pins with grid of 2.54 mm x 7.62 mm.

Technical Description:

This D/A converter was developed specifically for use in audio applications. The DA converter provides low distortion and typical differential linearity error is 0.001%. The interface is serial and provides a 16 bit resolution. The conversion rate is 666kS / s. For operation, no external components, such as temperature compensation or similar is required.

It is a symmetrical supply voltage of +- 5V to +- 12V needed.

Practical tips:

These part is firmly soldered to a circuit board. For replacing craftsmanship and experience in soldering is required.
