Notes on assembly LCD Display for Roland D-70:

The instrument must be almost completely disassembled to access the display.
We strongly recommend to take the circuit part, which generates the backlight voltage for the old display, permanently out of operation.
This procedure is described in the manual. This work should only be done by technically, preferably electrotechnically skilled people.

CAUTION!

Roland delivered the D-70 synthesizer with two revisions of the mainboard.
In order to supply you with the correct version of the necessary connectors, it is important that you know the revision number of your mainboard before ordering this replacement display.
Please order the version of our custom made, high quality replacement part that fits your D-70 synthesizer.
This will save you from a possible wrong order.
You will find the version designation in the upper left corner of your mainboard. Behind "ASSY 76237130" you will find either "01", "02" or "03".
