Notes on installation of LCD Display in Korg 01R/W:
The instrument must be disassembled almost completely to reach the display.The rack version of the Korg 01/RW synthesizer has much less mechanical effort than the keyboard versions.

For the new display to work, one SMD resistor on the mainboard of the Korg 01/RW must be replaced.
Furthermore we recommend to take out of function the power supply for the old backlight. For this two components in the Korg 01/RW have to be cut or desoldered. With this change the annoying beeping is eliminated.
