Notes on installation of LCD Display in Kurzweil K2000:

The instrument must be almost completely disassembled to access the display. Please do not underestimate the amount of work that is necessary. This work should only be carried out by people with technical, preferably electrotechnical, experience.

The installation itself can be done without any soldering skills, but: We recommend to take out of function circuit part for the old backlight foil. For this, a transistor and a capacitor must be removed. This can also be done with a side cutter, i.e. without soldering.
