The IC Alfa Rpar AS662D is a Dual Operational Transconductance Amplifier (OTA) with buffers
that was used in analogue synthesizers in the 1980s.

 

Mechanical Description of AS662D:

This AS662D is housed in a SOIC 16 package and is designed for surface mounting on a circuit board. The IC has 2 x 8 connecting pins with grid of 1.27 mm x 4.00 mm.

Technical description of the AS662D:

The AS662 consists of two independent OTAs, each with differential inputs and a push-pull output. Both amplifiers share a common power supply but operate independently of each other. Two buffers enable external control and offer flexibility in application.

This AS662 can replace Roland BA662 and Texas Instruments LM13700.

The BA662 was installed by Roland in the Jupiter series, the Juno series, the SH-101 and others, among others.

Practical tips:

These part is firmly soldered to a circuit board. For replacing craftsmanship and experience in soldering is required.
