mechanical work is required on Alesis HR-16:
The display is mounted on plastic bolts that are firmly connected to the housing. These plastic bolts must be shortened. The height of the OLED display is much lower than the height of the original LCD display. Without adjustment of the plastic bolts, a tunnel effect occurs because the new OLED display is much too deep in the housing.
The screws from the original display can be reused.
No soldering is required. The required plug is already soldered on and the cable is only plugged on.
The color of the display shown may differ slightly from the original.
Lifetime of OLED Display:
The lifetime is specified by the manufacturer with 50,000Â operating hours. After this specified drive time, the display still has 50% of its original luminosity.
