The Roland SK6L keyboard is a velocity-sensitive electric piano keyboard with weighted keys. The keys are mounted on a support frame whose core is made of sheet steel. The contact detection is done by 12 pin rubber contact strips with two graphite dots.

There is an SK6L and an SK6 keyboard. The keys can be used in both versions.

The weighted keys have a length of 20.5 cm with a width of 2.22 cm. The thickness of the key is in the core 2.3 cm. The upper resting point stop is realiisert in this keyboard by holding lugs on the key which are open to the rear and reach into the keyboard frame. The contactor pressing on the contact rubber is flush with the lower edge of the key. The distance from the front of the key is 13.5 cm. The spring pushes from bottom to top at the end of the key. The key is clicked into a T-shaped retaining tab at the end.
