Ready-to-plug display for the exchange in the Roland MKS-50. For this exchange you only need a screwdriver. We deliver the display ready wired.
Roland used a display in the MKS-50 which is no longer available. So that our new OELD display can be installed without problems, we have developed a compensation frame. The display is mounted on this frame. The compensation frame for the OLED display in the Roland MKS-50 is included in delivery.
 

Advice to Eprom Version in Roland MKS-50

Does the display only show half? That is, the first 8 characters are displayed normally but the remaining 8 characters remain dark? This can happen with an old Eprom version in the instrument. In this case the Eprom must be replaced by a current OS version.

We deliver this OLED dislpay for the Roland MKS-50 synthesizer ready for installation. All necessary cables are already soldered on. We deliver a 3D printet frame for mounting OLED in your Synthesizer. You will only need a screwdriver for the installation.

Lifetime of OLED Displays:

The lifetime is specified by the manufacturer with 50,000 operating hours. After this specified drive time, the display still has 50% of its original luminosity.
