Replacement and repair

Capacitors may be subject to high temperature fluctuations as a result of the equipment being switched on and off, causing them to age sometimes faster, sometimes less quickly. These cause the component's case to become brittle, leading to outgassing of the contents, and consequent failure of the capacitor. A capacitor can also burst and thus lose its function. It is also associated with a typical odor, as well as a certain danger to the device.
In both cases, the replacement of the defective component is the best option to restore the functionality of the device.
